Patellar Tendonitis
I was beginning my college baseball career with patellar tendonitis in my left knee. I had been dealing with sharp, throbbing, and aching pain that affected my sport and everyday life. I elected to have surgery during the summer of 2014. Throughout my recovery, I continued to feel the constant, sharp pain in my knee and knew that my tendonitis had not been alleviated. I couldn’t even walk without pain. At this point, I wasn’t even worried about playing baseball. I just wanted to walk pain free. A friend told me about Dr. Cole and his history of working on professional athletes. I thought my last chance to cure the chronic tendonitis was to schedule a surgery with Dr. Cole. In January 2015, Dr. Cole performed left patellar tendon debridement on my knee. I faced a long road to recovery. After a year of intensive therapy, I was significantly better. The surgery was successful. The surgery that Dr. Cole performed on my knee enabled me to not only walk, but also to run pain free. I was again playing college baseball, and this time, without chronic pain. I had a very successful college career, and as a result I was selected in the MLB draft of 2017. Dr. Cole gave me a second shot at my dream of playing in the MLB. Thank you Dr. Cole!
