I have been a competitive alpine skier essentially my entire life and had committed to ski for Colby College's Division 1 team in the fall of 2020. In January of 2021 I had a crash that tore my ACL, MCL, both menisci, and gave me severe cartilage damage. I had my knee repaired and began to start recovery in preparation to ski my freshman year at Colby. Once I got to school and began working out and eventually skiing I knew something was wrong and had intense pain, that's when I went to see Dr. Cole. Dr. Cole saw me in the spring of 2022 and immediately fit me in for a scope to see what was going on. Dr. Cole cleaned up my knee and found all of the issues that had been giving me so much pain during my recovery. I am now two years past this scope and my knee is doing better than I ever imagined. I had a great season last year, my sophomore year. This year, my junior year, was the best of my career with me winning a regular season college race, being named to the All Eastern second team, and qualifying for D1 NCAA Championships. I wouldn't have had this amazing season, ski without pain, and still be able to do what I love the most without seeing Dr. Cole.
