- July 30, 2024 Recently, I have been reflecting on my climbing trip to Spain last fall and going through photos of myself sea stack climbing this past June off the very northwest tip of Ireland. These photos reminded me that it has been 5 years since Dr. Cole and his team put my shoulder back together, and I wanted to double down on the gratitude front. I am grateful for the random moments I have in beautiful places, and I think about how lucky I am that there are people dedicated to fixing their fellow humans. Dr. Cole, you have no idea how many times I have been someplace beautiful -hanging off a rock or piece of ice – and have quiet moments of gratitude. I acknowledge all the people who helped me be in that space and place.
